Bulldozers are the main operating machinery in the construction of farmland and the construction of water conservancy projects. Drivers should master six "techniques."
(1) According to the characteristics of terrain and the requirements of the project, correct and flexible use of different methods of bulldozing to improve the operating efficiency. During the earthmoving operation, the locomotive shall keep a straight line as far as possible. It is forbidden to make a sharp turn during “pressure drop†(landing with a blade) so as not to damage the blade and the beam frame and cause the cylinder bracket to bend and fracture. In operation, the locomotive must turn after the blade is fully raised.
(2) When operating the distributor handle, it should be correct and agile, so as not to block the oil passage of the slide valve, increase the oil pressure abnormally, and force the safety valve to open, so that the mechanical parts are under higher pressure. At the same time, the dispenser handle should automatically return to the “neutral†position during the operation of raising and lowering the bulldozer, and it must not be forcibly returned to the position. If the handle does not return to the “neutral†position, the oil pressure will exceed the opening pressure of the safety valve, allowing the oil to drain, and a “click†sound can be heard near the dispenser. This can force the dispenser handle back to the "neutral" position. Then check the cause of the malfunction, otherwise it will damage the hydraulic components.
(3) When the parking or hydraulic system is not working and during the idle stroke of the blade, the dispenser handle should be placed in a “neutral†position to prevent the spring from being compressed and causing premature fatigue damage.
(4) During the transportation of the bulldozer (if the work site is transferred), the bulldozer should be raised to the transport height and fixed with a safety bolt so that the blade is hung on the front bracket of the tractor to reduce the load on the hydraulic hose and the cylinder. .
(5) When bulldozers turn in the ground and pass through furrows, they should use low speed and low throttle to prevent the hydraulic hose from breaking due to the large impact force.
(6) The dispenser handle should be placed in the "floating" position during dozing operations. In order to avoid overloading the locomotive or encounter obstacles such as hard soil and stones, the oil pressure in the high pressure hose increases rapidly, causing the hose to burst. When placed in a floating position, it can be easily raised and lowered to avoid overloading the blade when it hits hard dirt or obstacles.
