Plant Pathologists of the American Phytopathological Society (APS) believe that the strain of aquatic plants on plant diseases and climate change may be applied to terrestrial agriculture. According to David Schmale III of Cornell University, “Many aquatic plants have their own unique methods of combating bacterial attacks. Through further research, plant physiologists can apply it to terrestrial agriculture.†Current research on freshwater plant diseases has been Good control results and environmental effects, although plant pathologists are generally to prevent microbial-induced plant diseases, but they can also use plant pathogens to control freshwater plants that affect natural aquatic plants.
