In order to save energy, soft-shelled turtle farmers use a combination of greenhouse and pond culture models, that is, small soft-shelled turtles are cultivated in greenhouses. At this time, the stocking density is high and the heating fuel cost is low. After the water temperature of Wai Tang increases, The turtles in the greenhouse are transferred to the pond, which is a very scientific breeding mode. However, when the soft-shelled turtle is transferred from the greenhouse to the pond, if it is handled improperly, it will often cause a large number of dead. One of the causes of death was the high temperature in the greenhouse, the low temperature in the outer pond, and the large temperature difference. The turtle was unable to adapt to the disease and died. Another reason is that the soft-shelled turtle itself is sick or has a weak constitution. When it is transferred to the outer pond, the environment changes too much, the condition deteriorates, and a large number of deaths are caused. Another reason is that there is no clear pond in the outer pond and there are a large number of pathogens in the mud in the outer pond. Therefore, the following matters should be taken into account when turtles are transferred from greenhouses to outer ponds:
First, the pond clear pond disinfection. Before turtles are moved from the greenhouse to the outer pond, they must be thoroughly cleared of the ponds. The ponds contain poisonous and harmful silt. If they are not completely sterilized, the turtles are very susceptible to skin diseases, acne, and perforation. And because silt is difficult to remove, these diseases are not easily cured and are easily relapsed if cured. First, the water in the pond should be drained as much as possible, then the sediment should be turned into a ridge, and sunlight should be used for prolonged exposure. The ultraviolet light in the sunlight can kill various pathogens and turn the soil repeatedly. The pathogen in the sludge kills. This is the best way to disinfect and sterilize. Sprinkle lime water in the first nine days of turning the pond, clear the pond with quick lime, and then enter the water after seven days, and test whether the pond water is toxic. After ensuring that the pool water is not toxic, it can be ready to transfer the pond.

Second, the water level in the pond should not be too high. Use sunlight to raise the water temperature. When the temperature of the pond reaches 25°C, consider turning the pool. The temperature and water temperature in the greenhouse are gradually reduced, allowing the turtle to gradually adapt to lower temperatures. When the indoor water temperature and the temperature of the outer pond are basically the same (the temperature difference is within 2°C), it can be transferred to the outer pond.

Third, the transfer to the pond, the turtle will be soaked with potassium permanganate solution soak disinfection for ten minutes, and then put the disinfected turtle on the edge of the bait station, so that turtles themselves climb into the water.

Fourth, the week before the transfer to the pond should be to increase nutrition and add anti-disease, treatment of drugs. The way to increase nutrition is to choose a good feed and mix in egg yolks, liver, etc. The medicines for disease prevention and treatment are generally compound vitamins, vitamin C, ciprofloxacin, Banlangen, and honeysuckle in the feed. Especially when vitamin C is added, it is easy to injure the turtle during operation, and vitamin C can promote wound healing and prevent inflammation of the wound.

Fifth, only the healthy soft-shelled turtle can transfer to the outer pond. Judging the health of turtles can be judged by the rapid response of turtles and the speed of eating. Don't reluctantly transfer to the pond. Some farmers see that others have turned to outer ponds and they also follow the outer ponds. This is blindly followed. The outer ponds should be decided according to the turtle's health status. If the soft-shelled turtle responds with sluggish activity, is not strong, eats slowly, or has other obvious diseases, it must be cured and then transferred to the outer pond.
