Summer cage fish management

Summer is a season of fish growth. The day-to-day management of summer fish farming is critical to improving the fish production throughout the year. The management of cage fish farming in summer should focus on the following aspects. First, the setting and adjustment of cages. Summer is the main flood season, and the water level of the water tank placed in the cage will be affected by rain and flood. The cage should be adjusted as the water level rises and falls. For waters with less water level changes, stocking cages also move regularly because summer water temperatures are high, fish metabolism is strong, and the amount of food residue and fish excreta accumulated in the bottom of the cage is decomposed, resulting in high oxygen consumption and deterioration of water quality. It is easy to cause oxygen deficiency in the fish in the box and it is more susceptible to fish diseases. In particular, cages in Tai Hang Tong should pay more attention to this point. Second, the cage fish breeding. Adhere to the "four set" principle (that is, timing, quantitative, qualitative, positioning). Choose pellet feeds that are suitable for the fish's caliber, and rationally coordinate with the nutritionally complete feed, and adhere to the principle of less quantity and more time to feed. Control the daily feeding amount of 4% to 8% of the fish's body weight, divided into 4 feedings, with an interval of 3 hours. The principle of feeding is “slow and fast, slow,” that is, the feeding amount is small and the speed is slow. After the fish in the cage concentrates on feeding, the feeding speed is accelerated, and most of the fish are fed and slowed down. The time for feeding a cage fish is 15-20 minutes, and the degree of "eight points full" is used. Otherwise it will affect the next meal. Third, the prevention and treatment of fish diseases. Summer is the epidemic season of fish diseases. Fish cages have high density and are more susceptible to fish diseases. Fish disease control is a key point in the summer management of cage fish farming. (1) Drug hanging bags: The cages are regularly bagged every half a month. The hanging bags are generally strong chlorinated, copper sulphate and ferrous sulfate mixture, trichlorfon, and 100 insect nets. Hanging bag method for each cage diagonally hanging two packages of drugs can be, each package weight of 100 grams with plastic bags, and then in the above with a small wire tie a few holes. (2) Feeding baits regularly: Combining cages with bags to feed baits simultaneously has a significant effect on fish disease control. The method of feeding is to choose to feed the bait when the food is most consumed every day. Continuous feeding for 3 to 5 days is a course of treatment. The baits that are often fed are: 100 grams of oxytetracycline per 100 kilograms of material, 30 grams of norfloxacin per 100 kilograms of material, 25 grams of erythromycin per 100 kilograms of material, and trichlorfon per 100 grams of material. Grams and so on. Fourth, prevent escape security. Check the nets of the cages regularly for damages. Pay attention to the eating and eating conditions of the fish in the tanks. If any abnormalities are detected immediately, prevent fish escape. Fish cages need to be managed by dedicated personnel. Responsibility for each cage should be assigned to the staff, who should be on duty day and night and pay attention to weather changes.
