A good color

Diatoms are a good food for many aquatic animals and their larvae. When the diatoms multiply, the color of the water body is yellow-brown. This kind of water color is a good color for fish farming.

2, yellow-green water, grass green water The color of the algae contained in the water mainly algae dominated by green algae, such as the algae, the new algae, Dendrobium algae and other algae. Under normal circumstances, the color of water that grows green algae is yellow-green, and when green algae reproduce more, the water color is bright green. Chlorella can absorb a large amount of nitrogenous fertilizer and can purify the water body. Therefore, the water body dominated by green algae is relatively stable, and it is the water color desired by farmers.

The water quality of the above two kinds of water color is better, and the phytoplankton contained in the water body is generally a species that fish can easily digest. The adaptability of diatoms to water changes is weak. When the water environment changes greatly, diatoms will die in large numbers, and the water color will also change. Chlorella is adaptable to changes in the water environment, but be aware that when the water is too green (such as dark green) it means the water is old. At this time, we need to change the water or add new water in time or use chlorine preparation to control the amount of green algae in the pool water.

Second, bad water color

1. Black-green water This kind of water-colored water body tends to have a green film on the downwind of the pond when the weather is hot. This shows that there are more phytoplankton in the water body. The phytoplankton that grows in the water body are mainly algae (eg, dinoflagellate, cystis, etc.) of the phylum Euglenophyta, which is a species of algae that is not easily digested by fish.

2. The red-brown pool water is red-brown under sunlight, and the algae are unevenly distributed in the water, forming a cluster. This color of water contains a large number of algae algae, such as naked dinoflagellates, polydendron and so on. When they multiply, the color of the water is soy sauce, which is a sign of deterioration of water quality.

3. Emerald green water When the color of the water body is green, the transparency of the water body is reduced. When the water temperature rises, there is a layer of emerald green floating film on the water surface around the pond (especially downwind). The water of this color often contains a large amount of cyanobacteria (main species are Microcystis aeruginosa, Microcystis indeterminate Microcystis, etc.), and this water color is a sign of water quality aging.

The water quality of the above three kinds of water color is not good, because most of the algae contained in the water body are species that the fish cannot digest. When these algae multiply, the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water body decreases, and the transparency decreases.
