Second, the suitable environment:

The best environmental conditions for wetland pine are: rainfall of 1000-1400mm, annual average temperature of 15.4- 21.8°C, absolute maximum temperature of 38°C, occasionally reaching 41°C, and absolute minimum temperature of -17°C. It can be planted in the Yangtze River basin and in the south. S. elliottii grows well in sand and clay soils with poor iron and nodular layer drainage under the neutral to strong acid soil erosion in the red soil hilly land and under the top soil of 50-60 cm.
