1, planting quantity. According to the tree type and the mulberry field usage, the quantity will be determined. The general tree type has low-dry, medium-dry, high-dry and other forms. 2, ditch planting or hole planting. Before planting, deepen and level the land first. Gully planting is planting trenches according to row spacing requirements. The ditch depth is 50-60cm. Any planting form with a plant spacing below 1m can be used. The hole planting generally adopts a square shape with four sides of 60-70 cm in length. Where there are fewer plants per acre, the plant spacing is more than 1m, and the mulberry trees that are scattered and filled are all available. To apply basal fertilizer, generally about 5,000 kg of organic fertilizer is applied per acre. Fertilizer covers a layer of topsoil to prevent contact with the roots.
3, buy fine mulberry varieties. At present, the best mulberry varieties are the Red Star 5, 7707, 8001, 8002 bred by the Sericulture Research Institute of Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences. There are also a series of new mulberry varieties of Nongsang No. 8, Nongsang No. 12, and Nongsang No. 14 that were bred by the Sericulture Research Institute of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
4, colonization. Mulberry seedling colonization quality and survival rate and the growth and development of young trees are extremely close. According to the physiological requirements of the mulberry tree, it is necessary to make the seedling deeply rooted and shallow planted. When planting, saplings are required to be planted in the planting furrow according to the row spacing requirements, and the roots are spread evenly to the four sides. Then, the roots are smashed with finely divided topsoil, and the seedlings are gently lifted while the soil is in close contact with the root system. Finally, the soil is collapsed. The rammed soil is slightly higher than the ground, and the winter planted eucalyptus is earthworm-like to prevent freezing and drought. The depth of planting is suitable for the treatment of 7-10 cm in the soil from the mulberry root neck.
