Winter collection of agricultural machinery "seven attention"

First, to prevent iron parts from rusting

In particular, thin-walled iron parts, such as iron pipes for pumping water pipes, should be removed in winter and cleaned, painted with anti-rust paint, stored in a ventilated, dry warehouse, and then installed and used until spring eve next year. Other iron parts such as ploughshares, coulters, etc., should be cleaned, wiped dry, and then painted with engine oil.

Second, prevent the motor from getting wet

If the motor is not used for a long time, it should be placed in a dry, ventilated, clean warehouse. If the motor is put together with pesticides and fertilizers, or placed on damp mud, for a long time, it will be corrosive and damp, and the internal insulation performance will be reduced, resulting in short circuit, electric leakage, and even electric shock.

Third, prevent the body and tank from freezing

In cold winters, the cooling water is not released after the tractor is operating, and the body and water tank are easily frozen. Therefore, after the tractor is put into operation, especially if it is to be parked for a long time, the cold water must be exhausted to prevent freezing of the cylinder block and the water tank.

Fourth, to prevent the aging of rubber parts

The rubber parts are damp and sticky with oil, and are prone to ageing, cracking, and shortening the service life. The tractor, the pump, and the belt or hand tape on the harvester should be removed, hung on the wall or stored in a dry and ventilated place. During parking of the tractor during storage, the front and rear bridges of the locomotive should be jacked up with jacks or bricks to keep the tires off the ground without pressure and to maintain proper air pressure.

Fifth, to prevent battery curing

When large and medium-sized tractors are parked for a long time, the batteries should be dismantled, the electrolyte should be poured out, and the outer surface should be cleaned with distilled water. After sufficient electricity, Vaseline should be painted on the surfaces of the electric piles and chains, and placed in a clean and warm room. To prevent vulcanization and cracking.

Sixth, it is necessary to prevent wood from rotting

For example, the barrels and drums of rice-making machines are made of wood. If they are used after being left without maintenance, the machine is susceptible to mildew after getting wet. Therefore, it should be washed, dried, painted with tung oil and stored in a ventilated, dry place.

Seventh, to prevent spring deformation

The clutch on the hand-held tractor is a combined type assembly. When the hand is dragged into the storage and parked, the handle should be placed in the position of “closed”. Otherwise, the clutch spring will be under pressure for a long time and lose its elasticity, which will cause plastic deformation and be scrapped in advance. The intake and exhaust valves of the engine should also be placed in the closed state. In this way, the spring can not only avoid long-term pressure, but also prevent dust from entering the cylinder and corrode the valve and cause air leakage.
