When pumping oil, there is gas mixed in the fuel spilled from the bleeder screw, indicating that there is a leak in the oil circuit. The reason may be:
(1) The fuel pipe from the tank to the pump is not tightened, or the joint packing is damaged, or the oil pipe is damaged. If you suspect a leak, remove the tubing, block one end, place it in the water, and inflate it from the other end into the tube. The area where the blisters overflow is the leak.
(2) The nozzles of the fuel injectors are stuck in the open position, and the fuel supply valve is not tightly sealed. The high pressure gas in the combustion chamber enters the low pressure oil circuit.
(3) The oil level in the tank is too low to draw in air.
(4) When the oil path from the tank to the pump is severely blocked, it is also easy to draw gas.
Loosely open the gas screw. If the handle is pressed for a long time and the resistance is always felt, it may be that the return valve on the high pressure pump or the oil inlet and outlet valve in the oil pump is not tightly sealed, and the oil leaks, causing insufficient oil supply. The reason may be that the valve surface is worn badly, the valve surface is contaminated with impurities, and the valve spring is damaged.
