Agricultural motor should pay attention before starting
In recent years, along with the completion acceptance of the rural power grid renovation project, the rural electricity rate has decreased, together with the rising prices of diesel and gasoline, pumping machines, peanut shelling machines, threshers, crushers, rice mills, etc. in agricultural machinery. More and more electric motors are used as power. In the process of using these electric farm implements, accidents caused by personal injury and death and burning of agricultural motors have occurred from time to time due to the failure to check the status of the motor and the power supply voltage before starting. How to check the agricultural motor prior to starting has become a concern for motor users. Introduce this knowledge as follows:
(1) Remove debris. Remove dirt from the motor, nearby debris, and stacking flammable and explosive materials.
(2) Before starting, check whether the agricultural motor rotates flexibly, with or without friction, jamming, swaying and abnormal sound. Whether the working machinery is stuck or not, and whether the belt connection is good, in particular, the driving belt must not be over-tightened or loosened. The bolts and pins of the coupling should be complete and sturdy and must not be loosened.
(3)Before starting, it is necessary to check whether the line voltage is normal. If it is too high or too low, it should not be started. Generally, it should not exceed the rated voltage value +10 %～-5 % to start.
(4) Start the agricultural motor generally should be no-load or light load, there should be no people nearby, the personnel operating the switch should stand on one side to prevent arc burns; use the double-switch cutter star to reduce the pressure must start to follow the operating procedures.
(5) If the motor does not turn or the rotation is slow and the sound is abnormal after closing, it shall be checked for power failure immediately, and after the fault is found out, it shall be started again.
(6) Multiple motors start operation. It should be started from one station to one station, and several stations should not be started at the same time.
(7) Limit the number of starts. When a motor is started several times in succession, it should maintain an appropriate interval between two starts to prevent overheating. The number of consecutive starts must not exceed 3 to 5 times (no load condition); Should not exceed twice, otherwise it is easy to burn the motor.
(8) Reverse processing. When the start-up reverses, it should be stopped immediately. After turning on any two-phase power cables, you can turn them forward.
For newly installed or permanently deactivated motors, the following checks should also be made:
(1) Whether the foundation of the motor is firm, whether the bolt is tightened, whether the bearing is short of oil, and whether the motor wiring meets the requirements, and whether the insulation resistance is qualified by using a “rocking tableâ€.
(2) Whether the fuse meets the requirements, whether the wiring of the starting equipment is correct, whether the starting device is flexible, whether there is a stuck phenomenon, and whether the contact is good.
(3) Whether the metal shell of agricultural motor and starting equipment is reliably grounded or connected to zero. According to the regulations in China's “Low Voltage User Electrical Installation Regulationsâ€, rural power equipment should adopt protective grounding.
